Floor sawing and controlled demolition Bedfordshire
The project we successfully completed in 2024 at the Liscombe Health Centre in Leighton Buzzard Bedfordshire involved the electric floor sawing cutting and removal of concrete slabs to accommodate a new piping system around an existing swimming pool. The concrete thickness varied between 250mm and 500mm. We utilised an 415v electric floor saw equipped with a 1200mm diameter blade for the concrete cutting process. A Brokk demolition machine fitted with a breaker attachment was employed to break up the concrete. Following the concrete removal, we excavated to a depth of 800mm using the Brokk machine with a bucket attachment. Our electric equipment is particularly advantageous for indoor operations being quiet and with no petrol fumes.
