DIY SOS – Multiple Diamond Drilled Core Holes Yorkshire
DIY SOS had a mere eight days to convert a field in Beverley, East Yorkshire, into a new facility for the Cherry Tree Youth Club, which has lacked a permanent location since the onset of the Covid pandemic.
Core ECT was summoned on very short notice to diamond drill 84 holes, each measuring 22mm in diameter, into the concrete pads to accommodate the vertical steels necessary for the main structure of the new building.
A total of 84 diamond core holes were drilled to facilitate the erection of steel.
Specialized diamond drilling equipment was employed for this task.
We received the call at 9am and arrived on site within a few hours to provide assistance. The work was essential for the building’s construction. All tasks were completed ahead of the deadline.
