Core-ECT Diamond Drilling were appointed to complete a specialist wire sawing and robotic demolition project in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, on behalf of Leyburn Property Developments.
The project involved altering a former bank building which is being transformed into a high-quality Airbnb accommodation. As part of the refurbishment, access was required through the original redundant bank vault in order to create a new internal room layout.
Due to the heavy reinforced construction of the vault walls, conventional breaking methods were unsuitable. A controlled and highly precise demolition solution was required.
