This project took place at a water recycling facility in Retford, Nottinghamshire, where we were tasked with the flush cutting and removal of a reinforced concrete slither section from within an internal tank. The objective was to enable safe access for internal refurbishment works.
Scope of Works:
Diamond wire sawing for precise flush cutting and accurate separation of reinforced concrete.
Diamond core drilling to create wire access points and guide paths.
Flush cutting techniques to ensure minimal disruption to surrounding structures and a clean finish.
Carried out as part of a high-profile, sensitive operation within a live treatment facility.
The works were completed efficiently, with a focus on precision, minimal structural impact, and safety compliance, allowing follow-on refurbishment works to proceed as planned.
